Amman, September 30 (Petra) – The General Manager of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Dr. Na’el Al-Hussami, discussed with the CEO of “Meqyas Technical Consulting Company,” Mr. Adel Al-Ghamdi, during a meeting held at the Chamber on Tuesday, ways to assist Jordanian companies and factories in exporting to the Gulf States, particularly to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they discussed providing advisory services to Jordanian factories to find technical solutions to overcome the challenges faced by exporters to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf market, and to clarify the most important requirements and specifications for products, according to Gulf and Saudi standards.
It was agreed that “Meqyas” would conduct training workshops targeting various sectors to raise awareness of the technical requirements and standards. The two parties also agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding, which would include provisions that benefit Jordanian products, such as organizing seminars and workshops, contributing to disseminating Saudi requirements and specifications to manufacturers, building relationships with importers in Saudi Arabia, and conducting visits to several Jordanian factories to discuss and improve their export practices, along with other relevant items.
The Quality and Environment Officer at the Chamber, Engineer Rose Al-Samadi, emphasized that the Chamber works to support Jordanian factories that wish to export, which positively impacts increasing Jordanian exports to the Saudi market, considered a large and important market for Jordanian products.
